Collagen Infusions

Collagen is a filler substance that targets deep channels, grooves, indentations and folds in the skin. Collagen treatments offer immediate, dramatic results. The most common treatment areas are the frown lines between the eyes, folds beside the nose and wrinkles around the lips.

Collagen injected into these areas helps restore the natural support structure of the face and smooth out facial surface lines. These treatments help to replace the collagen we all naturally lose over time. Patients experience a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Depending on what part of the face is being treated, injections can take from 20 to 40 minutes. Many patients have the procedure during lunch and return to the office. Allergy testing is required first, to make sure patients don’t experience a reaction to the collagen.

Collagen treatments are not a permanent solution. The effects last about three to 12 months. Treatments should be repeated every four to six months.
